Bangkok is big city with around 15 million people every day. But you can also find oases where you
can enjoy in nature, animals… One of them if Lumpini Park.
It is a first public park in Thailand, given by King Rama VI to Thai people at 1925. On the south of park
is statue of King Rama V, placed during King Rama VII.
Lumpini Park is located between the Rama 4th street, Ratchadamri Road, Wirelles Road and the
Sarasin Road and it is one of the centers in Bangkok.
Park is open from 4:30 am until 9 pm every day and it is full of people all the time. There are many
things that you can do in Lumpini: running, jogging, ride bicycle, swim, bodybuilding, tennis, you can
do yoga, taikek, aerobic dance… or you can just relax, walk or sit by the water and enjoy.
Animals in Lumpini Park: fiches, giant lizards, turtles, squirrels, birds…
It is not allowed smoking, drinking, also you can’t bring your pet.
